In the years since the twins’ births, Beyoncé and JAY-Z have kept their two littles ones out of the spotlight, even moreso than big sister Blue. During the latter concert, the crowd started chanting Blue’s name, and video of the sweet moment went viral on social media. When the tour headed to the U.S., Blue made a lasting impression at the Philadelphia, PA show and the Detroit, MI show. Blue danced alongside her mama during the songs “My Power” and “Black Parade” in a red jumpsuit, matching many of the other dancers on the tour. She made her debut during the Paris show in May 2023, and came out again during the London show a few days later. The dance classes have clearly been going very well for Blue, as she joined her mom on the Renaissance World Tour. She’s been featured on two of her parent’s songs: first on JAY-Z’s 2012 single “Glory,” and then on Beyoncé’s 2020 song “Brown Skin Girl” from The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack. Since my units are cheap I have no issue deleting them when I do not need them. I rarely use special faction units with the exception of Sun Jian since hes special units come recruited at full health. I like to put myself in a corner and slowly force my way out. My favorite factions are the ones on the border of the map. For instance if you kill He Yi you get a heal. You hunt down special lords and get abilities from them. One of my favorite factions is Lu Bu in A World Betrayed dlc. He recently did a complete tier list of all special units. If you want good tips check out this youtube channel. Since you're just getting into the game I suggest playing one of the vanilla factions above rather than trying out Yellow Turbans, Bandits, or Nanman. Yuan Shao is more versatile but he's one of the most poorly developed factions (no unique characters other than himself). I can't really speak for Liu Biao or Yuan Shu as I've never played them. Being a governor faction, you'll have to wait for other to declare themselves emperor before you can pursue victory. Once the three kingdoms are formed you're essentially gonna have to go rambo, but again try to maintain allies so you dont lose your main income. If you're gonna pursue a victory I advice you to become part of a strong coalition/alliance to keep trade slots filled, (as well as to aporoach the commandery requirement related to Victory) and instead focus on destroying the other alliances/factions. Build up your treasury, and you can even field armies to the point where you lose money each turn (so long as you have a huge chunk of money to take from). You can use your unique diplomatic action to form extra lucrative trade deals and use this to create power house cities and settlements. You can also use his unique resource to annex Han Empire settlements, meaning you conquer settlements without spilling a single drop of blood.Īs Kong Rong you're best off at peace with other factions. Liu Bei has some of the strongest characters in the game, and his unique resource has several benefits to prestige(level-up currency), happiness, and more. Basically, use your reduced upkeep cost to field cheap militia units and get a strong start, but refrain from declaring war on either Tao Qian or Liu Biao, as you may inherit their lands. Liu Bei has a lot of scripted events that grant him unique characters as well as commanderies. The strategy here is to conquer most of Northern china and keep a lot of cavalry units, as you're gonna get reduced upkeep from Ma Teng/special horse pastures settlements located in the Northern part of the map. So use this to your defence.īoth Gongsun Zan and Ma Teng are cavalry-focused and have the advantage of spawning at the edge of the map, meaning that you at least have one less angle to get attacked from. Cao Cao has the best protected settlements in the game with generally better unit variety and level. You can also instigate proxy wars, meaning that if you're afraid of a surprise attack when you're out conquering, you can lock an aggressive neigbour at war with someone else, to keep the pre-occupied. You can use his unique mechanic to make factions like you better (meaning they agree to more favorable deals, or are less aggressive towards you), or to make them dislike each other (again, taking the heat off yourself). There is something that can be done, but it is NOT going to be through the usual chat or callback options in customer service.ĮBay has a very good Money Back Guarantee Might be a nice idea to make a copy of this information, since you are going to need it. It will tell you where and when the tracking was initiated, the size/weight, and the street address that the parcel was delivered (not yours). Since you have a FedEx number, enter it here: box, when your item was less than a pound. There have been occasions where the tracking was initiated PRIOR to your purchase, or for a 30 lb. Unless you point out irregularities in the tracking information, nobody is going to check. This is NOT a regular "item not received" issue, but a fraudulent transaction. If you file for a refund from your credit card company, eBay will reply with the same "dubious" delivery notice and you may lose once again unless you are clear on the issue. You call regular lower tier customer service, and you lose again. You file for "Item not received" and get the typical you lose notice saying the tracking says delivered. Doesn't anyone know how this scam actually works? How do they get FedEx to say they delivered a package without there actually being a package delivered? Or am I just crazy? I asked them if they would be willing to ship the item via UPS or USPS, I even offered to pay an additional cost but they refused. Then I found 2 other sellers on eBay who are shipping the same item from the same location at a similar low price. After I purchased the item, which said that there were more than 5 available, the listing was removed from eBay. I was told by 2 of the individuals that FedEx does not have accountability for their delivery drivers and that they have no evidence that the package was actually left at my front door. I was told that the package was left at my front door (they quoted me my address) as it did not require a signature. I contacted FedEx and spoke to 4 different individuals. I got a delivery confirmation but no package, and I was home that day, all day. Store the fudge in an airtight container on the counter for 1 to 2 weeks, about 3 weeks in the refrigerator, or 3 months in the freezer. Remove the 3-ingredient fudge from the pan and cut it into 1-inch square pieces. If you're chilling the fudge overnight, you can lightly press a piece of plastic wrap on the top to keep it from drying out. And right before their final demise, they all HOLD HANDS. Shredded to bits and burned in the fiery pits of Mordor death. The toys all face certain death twice. If it were another movie, it'd probably get a PG rating. All Moral Guardians freaks aside, Toy Story 3 does heavily push a G rating in terms of intensity, action, and implied offscreen torture and violence, and probably received a couple exemptions from the MPAA (like Titanic's nudity). With this audience in mind, the movie works not only as a kids film, but as a celebration of childhood for those entering adulthood. The eleven year gap between Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 leaves a large adolescent/young adult audience that grew up with the first Toy Story movies. What Do You Mean It's for Kids?: Possibly one of the most ways of a movie getting around the Animation Age Ghetto while still remaining a family film.Big Baby is the Uncanny Valley personified. This is especially apparent in Ken's opening scene, and he is most certainly not to be trusted. However, Pixar instead invokes the Valley to great effect with Ken and Barbie, whose animations are just subtly inhuman enough to make them very slightly creepy. While in the original the human characters appeared unnatural and robotic due to the Valley (the very reason the animation of the toys was convincing for its time), as of the third film Pixar made the humans more stylised in line with Ratatouille and The Incredibles. Uncanny Valley: Like so many elements inherent to the series since the very beginning, this Trope has finally come full circle. The Problem with Licensed Games / Licensed Game: Zig-Zagged.A scene from the second film (where Buzz assures Woody he'll be eating hot "schmoes" with Andy in no time) served as the template for the "X, X Everywhere" meme."There's a snake in my boot!" and "Somebody poisoned the water hole!" probably count to a lesser extent.Nearly everyone agrees that the only real reason why the third film was in 3-D was so everyone had glasses to obscure their Manly Tears.Memetic Mutation: "Move out of the way children, I've been waiting 11 years to see Toy Story 3.".Girls Need Role Models: The creators' wives, female animators who arrived in the interim between Toy Story 1 and 2, and Joan Cusack all pushed to make Jessie a stronger character. The scene where Woody and Jessie were watching the episodes of Woody's Roundup for what is very obviously several hours pretty much foreshadowed the concept of bingewatching old shows before such even became common. This line becomes especially hilarious when one remembers that Wayne Knight, the guy who voiced Al, will later voice Zurg in the spinoff Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. While the toys and the wrong Buzz are spying on Al, Buzz speculates that he is one of Zurg's minions. Also in 2, the Hilarious Outtakes have, at one point, the Prospector having a conversation with twin Barbie dolls and telling them he'd try to get them a part in the third movie. As one person has noted, at the end of 2, Buzz gets a wingboner.Hilarious in Hindsight: "Maybe, if we find some balloons, we can float to the top!". Given that the printed page and the virtual page have much in common,it should come as no surprise that we also use it in web and app design. The grid system was first used to arrange handwriting on paper and then in publishing to organize the layout of printed pages. A GPS accesses these coordinates to help guide us imagine the chaos if there were no grid system for it to latch on to and keep us right on the road! They will always appear in the same place on other maps. Islands, towns, lakes will appear on an exact part of a map, on a set of North-South/East-West coordinates. Every element has its place that we can see instantly and reproduce elsewhere. We use this column-based structure to place text, images, and functions in a consistent way throughout the design. The grid system helps align page elements based on sequenced columns and rows. Users are happy when they see familiar features laid out as they would expect to find them. Grids in interactive design can also help provide a consistent experience across multiple devices with different screen sizes. Low-tech and cheap, this is a great resource for you as a designer – consider it a top-ten tool in your office. It’s a tried and tested technique that first found favor in print layout. One of the easiest ways to achieve an organized design is to apply a grid system. To help us make the most of our work surfaces and create with precision, we designers have a tool that echoes this. Many traditional artists still paint their masterpieces over a faint series of intersecting lines. As a concept that deals so fundamentally with the fabric and background of our work as designers, it’s easy to overlook the power of grids and think more about the elements we want to create. Now that we’ve seen some grids at work in the Rule of Thirds article, let’s examine them a little more deeply. |
